R/ Ananda Maithreya Central College - AMCC - Balangoda On July 5, 1943 this school was started based on Balangoda Miriswatta Sri Dhammananda Monastery with the courage and will of above mentioned Monks and after that it has been feeding education for thousands of innocent students of Balangoda area over 75 years of time. Find until the school was inherited by the Sri Lankan Government all the needs such as financial aids, buildings, infrastructures, requirements and maintenance were fulfilled with the generous hand of the Donators of Balangoda Area.
